Service information
Website content is general service information and does not replace an on-site diagnosis, quote, permit determination or emergency instruction from the appropriate authority.
Safety
For immediate threats involving gas, fire, electrical hazards, sewage exposure or other emergencies, follow the appropriate utility or emergency-service instructions rather than relying on the website.
Independent service contractors
Plumbers.fyi is a free service that assists homeowners in connecting with local service contractors. Contractors are independent. Plumbers.fyi does not warrant or guarantee the contractor's work, pricing, schedule, licensing status, insurance, or performance.
Homeowner responsibility
The homeowner is responsible for verifying that the contractor hired for a job provides the license and insurance required for the work being performed. The homeowner should also review the proposed scope, price, permits, inspections, warranties, and other job terms directly with the contractor before authorizing work.
Website information
Service descriptions are general information intended to help homeowners understand common plumbing needs and prepare for a service conversation. They are not an on-site diagnosis and do not establish that a particular repair, replacement, code requirement, or permit applies to a property.
Emergency conditions
Do not rely on website content when there is an immediate threat involving gas, fire, electricity, sewage exposure, flooding near electrical equipment, or another dangerous condition. Follow the appropriate emergency-service or utility guidance.
No guarantee of availability or outcome
Website availability, a listed service area, or a phone number does not guarantee that a contractor will accept a particular job, arrive within a particular time, or complete work for a particular price. Service details are confirmed between the homeowner and the independent contractor.
Changes to site content
Service descriptions, locations, contact information, and these terms may be updated as the website changes. Homeowners should rely on the current information provided by the contractor for the actual job.
Use of maps and location information
Maps and geographic names provide service-area context. They do not represent a Plumbers.fyi office or guarantee the location of a contractor. The homeowner should provide the actual property address when arranging service.
Contractor agreements
Any quote, work authorization, payment arrangement, warranty, scheduling commitment, or other service agreement is between the homeowner and the independent contractor. Plumbers.fyi is not a party to that agreement unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
By using the site, visitors understand that website content is general information and that the hired contractor is responsible for evaluating the property and performing the work that the homeowner authorizes.
